The Draft King Black Galvanized Chimney Cap is a good cap for cost conscience homeowners looking to protect their homes from weather and animal invasion. A 24 gauge lid tops off the 18 gauge 5/8" mesh screen which is 6 1/2" high. What makes these caps unique are the placement of the mounting bolts. Located in the corners, the mounting bolts are recessed in order to give themselves a level grip against the flue tile.
